Axolotls SMS & Axolotls SMS BSS Chrome Extension
Last updated: March 13, 2026
This privacy policy covers both the Axolotls SMS web application (bss.axolotls.app) and the Axolotls SMS BSS Chrome Extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is handled.
Chrome Extension: When you click the “Send SMS” button on a Jackrabbit Class report page, the extension reads the report data visible on screen — such as student names, phone numbers, and class information. The extension does not access anything beyond what is already displayed to you on the page.
Web Application: The Axolotl SMS app processes uploaded report data (from the extension or Excel files) to send SMS reminders via the RingCentral API. Authentication is handled through RingCentral OAuth — we do not store your RingCentral password.
We do not transport or store user data on external servers. All data is stored locally in your browser:
We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to any third parties. Report data is only used within the Axolotl SMS application to facilitate sending SMS reminders through your organization's RingCentral account.
Report data is ephemeral — it exists only for the duration of your SMS sending session and is automatically cleared when the popup closes. No report data is permanently stored by the extension or the web application.
If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy, please contact the developer at developer@axolotls.app.
